The Old Town Christmas Festival offers a fun-filled experience for the whole family. It features exciting rides and a charming petting zoo. There are also pony rides for little cowboys and cowgirls and festive performances capture the holiday spirit!

Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center Tree Lighting

The evening features the annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony! Watch as the town is illuminated and the beautiful tree lights up the night. Don’t forget to take photos under the stunning display of lights. It’s the perfect way to capture the magic of the season!

The tree lighting will start at 6:15 PM.

City of Leander Movie with FREE Hot Chocolate

As the festivities come to a close, we invite you and your family to join us. Gather under the holiday night sky for a cozy holiday movie. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate. It’s the perfect way to wind down and end your Christmas festival experience on a warm, festive note. 

This year’s movie event will feature The Grinch, starting at 7:00 PM.

Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center Rudolph Run 5K

The event is sold out for this year, but the run starts at 10:00 AM, officially kicking off the Christmas Festival. and while tickets are already sold out, everyone is invited to cheer on the runners and soak up the holiday atmosphere.
