Hey Leander kiddos, are you ready to help kick off the holiday season with a spark of creativity and a whole lot of holiday cheer? We’re looking for one lucky young artist to light the Christmas tree at the Old Town Christmas Festival on December 7th!
All you need to do is submit your artwork—whether it’s a drawing, a painting, or something more creative. This is your chance to shine (literally!) in front of the whole community!
How to Enter:
- Create Your Artwork:
- Project must fit on a standard 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of paper or in a 8 1/2X11 flat space if it is a sculpture.
- It must be your interpretation of the theme Old Town Christmas Festival.
- Include Your Information:
On the back of your artwork, be sure to include:- Child’s name and age
- Parent’s name
- Contact email and phone number
- Address
- Submit Your Masterpiece:
- Drop off your artwork at the Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center at 100 N. Brushy Street.
- Submissions must be received by Monday, December 2nd, at 5:00 PM.
- Please note: Our office will be closed November 27th-29th, so plan your visit accordingly. Normal hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
- If you wish to pick up your art work after the contest, it must be picked up by Dec. 7th. (We can not guarantee the return of any art work submitted.)
